Background Information:
- The Move, in its original club and casual band 5-piece format, has been playing
together for more than 15 years. The Band puts on an incredible show, featuring all
star talent, and performing Top 40 songs from the 60's to current pop and rock, as
well as jazz standards, and plenty of specialty songs often requested by the Band's
many unique audiences. The Band also performs Dolly Rappaport's original songs,
taken from her many successful indie CD releases, many of which have garnered
international acclaim. The Band continues to gig at nightclubs, country clubs, and
private homes, from Monterey/Carmel to Marin County, San Francisco, the East Bay,
and beyond. With the original lineup of "Move" musicians and a HUGE community of
guest musicians to customize the band's sound for nearly any event, The Move is a
winning choice!! The Move is VERY easy to work with and gets fantastic reviews!!
